Chance (light bay) is a 26 year old Appendix (Thoroughbred/Quarter Horse cross) gelding
Shady (bay overo pinto) is a 15 year old Paint mare
Snickers (dark bay) is a five year old Paint gelding (Shady's first colt)
Migdalah (red dun) is a yearling Quarter Horse filly
Phillip (sorrel) is a ten year old Quarter Horse gelding

Are all those horses yours??? You guys are so blessed, what a beautiful part of the country... you and I have a lot in common, except at the moment I'm a country girl stuck in a city apartment ;)

ReplyDeleteFour of the horses are mine. Chance is my first horse that a friend gave us. I saved for years for Shady. My parents gave Snickers to me when I graduated from high school, and I got Migdalah in a trade for some fish tanks last December. You might say that I'm collecting them, but they get ridden all the time between my family and various friends. Phillip is the family horse that Nick usually rides. Montana certainly is beautiful, and I am so glad that I get to live here!
